The 2,052-passenger Carnival Ecstasy will kick off a new year-round schedule from Port Miami when it departs on a three-day Bahamas cruise this afternoon.

Carnival Ecstasy replaces Carnival Imagination on this popular route, which encompasses three- day cruises departing Fridays and visiting Nassau and four-day voyages departing Mondays with stops at Key West and Cozumel.

Carnival Imagination will depart Miami later today on a 16-day Panama Canal cruise that ends in Long Beach, Calif., on January 26, positioning the vessel for its new year-round schedule of three- and four-day cruises from the West Coast.

Carnival Ecstasy offers a variety of on-board innovations, including a WaterWorks aqua park, a Serenity adults-only retreat and a tropics-inspired resort-style main pool area, along with 152 balcony staterooms and suites – the most of any Carnival ship operating three- and four-day cruises from Miami.

Does anybody know if the Carnival Ecstasy is has the Cheers Beverage Program for Spring 2014 sailings. At the time of booking we were told it does. I understand the program is always changing but Cruising Earth web site shows that it is available but the Carnival web site does not include this ship. Confused.

The Cheers Program was definitely added to the Ecstasy last Fall. Unless something has changed very recently it is still available onboard. Sometimes the information on Carnival's website it not always up to date.
