New to cruising

Couple things that will depend on...

1) When are you cruising - cruising during holidays and school breaks tends to lower the average age of cruisers and increases nightlife activity
2) Where are you cruising - Caribbean cruises will see a younger crowd than typically other destinations like Alaskan cruises or River cruises, again the younger crowd typically will bring more nightlife
3) What cruise line - you've already made that decision and Norwegian typically has pretty decent nightlife. In general they will have less nightlife as compared to Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises if you were to compare those cruise lines on the same route at the same time. Again this is all just a factor of average age of passengers. Carnival on average has the youngest cruising crowd, Royal Caribbean second and Norwegian comes in a little higher.
