Research. Research the ports - thus includes You Tube vids . Often if you put the words “ cruise destination “ and the port name you will get a variety of vlogs from travellers. It is useful but also fun and helps to build the excitement. When I was still working I also made pics of the places I was busting my desktop screen saver . It was just a little reminder each day of what was coming up .

Cruise roll call is supposed to be fun too. I’ve never done it but would like to and have put out a call on here for my upcoming cruise . It’s an opportunity to connect with others doing the cruise and fudge new friendships .
