The Royal Navy flagship, the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier, is currently preparing for deployment from Portsmouth, England.

She is getting ready for a blended U.S. Marine, U.K. Royal Air Force Air Wing which will be largest F-35 deployment in history. This seven month joint deployment is the aircraft carrier’s maiden deployment and will cover 26,000 nautical miles and include visits to 40 countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
